As Italy is a food-loving nation, the demand for bakery and confectionery products is high. Food products and sweets are the major consumers of food emulsifiers in the country. The dairy industry is also registering a decent growth in the consumption of food. Following the veganism and health trends, the aging Italians are leaning more toward clean label and plant-based products, which may increase the consumption of plant-based emulsifiers, such as soy lecithin. It is common for Italians to prefer natural and healthier products compared to other parts of Europe, where they prefer minimally processed foods. U.S. consumer food products are marketed in Italy as the 5th largest market in Europe and the 25th largest market in the world. U.S. exports of processed food products to Italy declined by 2% in 2020, falling to US$144.9 million.

Food Week 2023 initiated a great programmer for students who have good research, they could choose ‘poster presentation’ or ‘young researchers forum’ options. that are available to World Conference on Food Science & Technology presenters. Through this means, students can gain experience explaining their research to the panel of experts during the session.
We believe that today’s students are tomorrow’s great researchers. For this reason, we have two special recognition grants for young researchers in our Food tech event; the ‘Best Poster Presentation’ award with a value of $300 and the ‘Young Researcher’ award with a value of $550 for best presenter. We hope this will encourage young researchers to do further quality research in the future.
In many cases, conference attendees shy away from the tradeshow floor, because they want to avoid aggressive salespeople. At a reputable conference, the vendors are selected for their high-quality products, integrity and commitment to the client’s success. In that case, pharmacy industry events are the best way to discover innovative products and services that will make your life easier and help you stay ahead of the competition.
